Counselling should feel like it fits you.
I offer a warm, collaborative approach to counselling—one that considers your experiences, relationships, environment and the goals that matter most to you.
I bring professional knowledge and guidance to our sessions, but you bring an understanding of your life that no one else can.
My role isn’t to tell you how to feel or hand you a one-size-fits-all solution. It’s to listen, ask thoughtful questions and work alongside you as we explore what’s happening and what may help.
You are the expert on your own experiences.
A space where you can show up as you are.
You don’t need to arrive with the right words or a clear idea of where to begin. We can start with whatever feels most present.
IN OUR SESSIONS:
You can expect our work together to feel:
Warm and conversational
Curious rather than judgmental
Collaborative and responsive
Grounded in your goals
Flexible as your needs change
There will be room for honest conversations, thoughtful reflection and even humour when it fits.
I primarily draw from cognitive-behavioural approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I also integrate elements from other therapeutic approaches based on ongoing professional development, current research, and the unique needs of each client.
